Other Flanns

There are many other Flanns spread throughout the world, but none have any direct connection with our family line. We know this from the work done by Ian Flann, of Ottawa, Canada, a keen amateur genealogist, who it transpired, is a fifth cousin, twice removed. But his detailed work, virtually up to the present day, is not relevant to these family notes.
